5 days...
I'm in Cambodia now, been here for awhile. Cambodia is probably my favorite place so far. I've just had a great time (despite the heat and mosquitos).
I am ready to come home though. As much as I love traveling, I'm tired and haven''t been home for 5 and a half months. I miss my bed and bagels and the city. Mostly the city. And now the heat there won't seem so bad since I'm so used to this death heat.
I went to Angkor Wat a few days ago, lots of amazing pictures (that will be posted once I get back to NY).
All is well, no food poisoning yet, surprisingly, and no malaria or major injuries. This is all quite an experience.
See you all soon!

Still going..
Malaria pills are odd though, few hallucinations and psychotic dreams though. Very exciting stuff.
Going to Vientiane soon, the capital. Then it's off to Cambodia. Everything is so cheap, you live like a king (or queen)!

Phew, I’m finally in an actual home and it’s been a pretty crazy week! Last I left it, everyone was moving out of Parklands and eventually it was just me, Greg from across the hall, French Brice from the next building (and his visiting friend on occasion). It was lonely but since we were the only ones left we decided to make the best of it and keep each other company. The three (sometimes four, sometimes more) of us went out to dinner and ate all the left over food in the building. Soon though, massive cleaning and packing ensued and we were forced to move out on July 4th, Independence Day. The four of us (this time) all packed up, had a beer to salute Parklands and America, and carried all our stuff on the bus downtown. Luckily, I had dropped my stuff off the day before at our family friend’s house who lives near Bondi Junction. Of course this meant that I had to carry all the boys’ stuff instead.
We all shared a hostel room for Friday and went out with a few of our remaining friends, it was still the 4th of July even if we were still in Sydney. The next day Brice went to go pick up his camper van he would be traveling in and I stayed in the hostel by myself Saturday and Sunday night (don’t even get me started on my roommates, I really hate hostels). Greg stayed in Sydney until this morning at 3am so we went to the aquarium and killed some time before his flight. He left, I spent my last night in the hostel and I came here, to our family friend’s (her name is Madeline, I know her through the Kovners). I get to stay with them for tonight, Monday, and Tuesday night before I pack up and organize myself to head off to Bangkok Wednesday morning,
Not much else to report. I’m glad to be out of a hostel and finally getting on my way to Asia. The sooner I get to Asia, the sooner I get to come home :)
I’ll post on more quick time before I leave, love you!
PS There are tons more NZ photos than are posted but I just didn’t have time. I’ll just have to do it when I get home. Home to the US, that is! Woohoo!
